As Igloos Head of HR, you will oversee Igloos HR function, partnering with the management team to develop and implement effective HR strategies to meet the business requirements.

What you will do:

  • Align HR strategies to support Igloo at different phases of its business growth.
  • Develop and roll out resourcing strategies across functions and countries to attract talents - find and recruit employees that align to the companys purpose and would advance the company's objectives.
  • Design and improve Igloos performance management, reward, retention and succession planning structure.
  • Champion a learning culture, develop frameworks and programmes to support employees learning and growth.
  • Lead on employee engagement in accordance with Igloos company values.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, while ensuring regulatory compliance on HR related policies and practices.
  • Have good working knowledge and hands-on experience on daily HR operations including payroll as well as compensation benefits.
  • Be a sounding board to the leadership team.
  • Nurture open communication and positive working environment with a strong team collaboration across the organisation.
  • Coach and support line management to ensure effective performance management of their teams
  • Involvement in other HR ad-hoc projects or other company-wide initiatives as needed
  • What you will need:

  • At least 10 years relevant HR experience, with business partnering and managerial experience.
  • Prior experience working in a high growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start ups (tech startups a plus).
  • Good knowledge and strong hands-on experience on daily HR operations and compensation and benefits and Employee Relations matters is a must.
  • South East Asia region experiences, understands the labour market, compliance issues and requirements in the markets we have operations in.
  • A self-starter with hands-on experience in building and leading the HR function in a fast growth environment.
  • Team management experience and a track record of good senior stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin as this role will oversee our Chengdus office people matters as well.
  • Good university degree.
