Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Underwriting/pricing/analyzing the treaties (Property, Engineering, Marine, Casualty, etc.) emanating from the responsible territorial markets in the South-East Asian countries.
  • Business producing activities including charting business plans, traveling to meet clients, and providing value-added service to clients to ensure the Branchs growth and profitability.
  • Reviewing claims and taking necessary actions for underwriting and business development purposes.
  • Managing the administration of the Branch (general management, HR, etc.) and reporting to the Branch CEO / the Head Office
  • Communications between the Branch and the Head Office with regards to various topics such as the Branchs asset management, management expenses, etc. (mostly in Korean)
  • Any other projects/duties assigned by the Branch CEO or the Head Office.
  • At least five years of working experience in treaty underwriting in the reinsurance company.
  • Fluent in Korean to liaise with the Head Office for internal communication and various reports to the Head Office with native business/formal written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the financial system in Korea.
