Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the delivery of all aspects of HR services including payroll, employment tax and benefits processing, bankwide registration, HR systems, HR information management, people administration, HR process re-engineering etc to ensure smooth operations and to sustain long-term operations efficiency.
  • Plan, review and monitor all HR processes and ensure compliance with related regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and deal with internal and external regulatory parties on compliance matters related to HR; coordinate with related stakeholders to finalize audit responses and ensure timely implementation of all audit points.
  • Plan and monitor the staff expenses budget at Bank level and division level.
  • Lead the HR information management processes, design and ensure timely delivery of a wide range of HR analytics and management reports to facilitate management decisions on business and HR strategies.
  • Participate in formulation of all HR, rewards and compensation policies/programs as well as ensure effective delivery of new or enhanced policies/programs.
  • Act as a change agent to evaluate HR processes and provide proactive and timely recommendations to improve operations efficiency, uplift the service quality and ensure full compliance at divisional level.
  • Keep abreast of the legal and regulatory changes and ensure the HR policies, programs, procedures and deliverables are in compliance with the legal and regulatory and ethical standards, in adherence to the Banks corporate values, risk management policies and service standards.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in HR with solid exposure on overseeing all HR services, compensation and benefits processes, licensing, HRIS management, staff expenses/budget control, quality assurance of broad range of HR processes preferably from banking industry.
  • Conversant with legislative requirements and best market practices.
  • Highly independent, strong analytical mind, attention to details and with the ability to provide proactive timely recommendation to improve the quality of all HR functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • A dynamic and mature team leader with strong planning and management skills.
  • Ability to work meticulously on multi-tasks, with strong self motivation.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
  • Well versed in HRIS, preferably with IPL.
  • Strong in computer skills especially MS Excel.
