Primary Responsibilities

ENGIE Impact is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager who can identify and recruit strategic talents for our Sustainability businesses across the APAC market (Singapore, Southeast Asia and Australia). You will anticipate sourcing needs and is at ease incorporating sourcing methodology, technology, and social media to recruit our regional expertise of consultants and leaders. You are able to predict global trends in the consulting industry and can proactively respond to various business and recruitment needs across countries in the Asia Pacific region.

We are seeking a highly collaborative recruitment team builder and project manager who is a detail-oriented critical thinker, able to communicate key insights with precision to our internal partners while working on a variety of workstreams across Talent Acquisition and H.R. initiatives.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Develop and implement a successful talent acquisition strategy supporting processes of the talent acquisition lifecycle to ensure a delightful candidate experience.
  • Partner with APAC HR Lead and Global Talent Acquisition to ensure our talent acquisition strategies are aligned with workforce planning and business needs.
  • Lead a team of recruiters in support of businesses across multiple locations to acquire relevant talents, from entry-level to highly technical candidates and executives.
  • Coach, develop the competencies and capabilities of the team to adapt to an ever-changing, growing business and to meet expectations of client groups.
  • Leverage technology, social media, relevant job boards for sourcing and raising ENGIE Impact employer brand in the talent marketplace.
  • Create an effective sourcing and outreach plan to attract high-quality, diverse candidates.
  • Build strategic campus partnerships to attract future talent and partner with the business to support internship and graduate programs.
  • Establish and manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies, other appropriate vendors, and negotiate contracts.
  • Establish and maintain efficient and consistent systems and processes to support full talent acquisition life cycle and local compliance.
  • Provide training to hiring managers on talent acquisition processes and hiring practices.
  • Establish appropriate talent acquisition metrics, provide regular reporting and consulting to the business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    A successful Talent Acquisition Manager at ENGIE Impact will typically meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of talent acquisition, recruitment, and HR experience required, multi-national companies and/or consulting firms (Big 5) professional services, advisory, and consulting organization highly preferred.
  • Agency experience and experience placing candidates in a variety of positions including technical, senior-level, and hard-to-fill positions which required sourcing and outside-the-box recruitment strategy is required. Proven ability to create talent acquisition practices and processes that ensure compliance with local, national employment laws and is resourceful in understanding employment laws in other geographies in the Asia Pacific.
  • Has a track record of designing and implementing efficient talent acquisition processes and systems to support high-volume, high-quality recruitment.
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business, finance, international management, or related field required.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility within the organization, and work with all levels of management and staff. Highly effective interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Inherently curious with the ability to thrive in a start-up environment within a well-known global company that is fast-paced and oftentimes ambiguous.
  • Passionate about sustainability and innovative business solutions related to decarbonization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure collaboratively across the business.
  • The desire for growth into other HR functions.
  • Experience with talent acquisition technology and tools including Taleo, LinkedIn, Entelo, Workday, Glassdoor, SalesForce, etc.
