The Role

Talent Acquistion & Sourcing

  • Develop a robust and sustainable recruitment process including identification of specific selection criteria (competency, talent characteristics, experience and education), interviewing, references, cheers, testing, placement, orientation, exit interviews, outsourcing practices for the property.
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure alignment of talent needs and develop powerful recruiting and employer branding strategies by leveraging key partners within and outside of the organization.
  • Effectively build on the comprehensive knowledge of the Pan Pacific brand, our offerings, benefits, compensation strategies, and initiatives to market the Hotel to applicants as an Employer of Choice.
  • Research, identify and recommend new and creative channels for active and passive recruitment to attract talent especially for niche and difficult to hire roles.
  • Keep abreast and maintain strong knowledge of recruitment trends, channels and outreach programmes through data, trends and applicant information analysis to gather insights and drive appropriate candidate generation and talent pool strategies.
  • Engage and build robust relationship with government agencies, private agencies and external parties for latest hiring initiatives, programmes, funding and support. Participate actively in pilot programmes of government agencies that will help to drive recruitment.
  • Engage and build robust relationship with educational institutions, organisations for talent pipeline through career fairs, internships, career talks etc. Be top of mind for internships.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process for effective hiring and to create a positive candidate experience for every candidate.
  • Ensure completeness and timeliness of all application documentation and handle all administration related to talent acquisition, recruitment and on-boarding.
  • Business Plan and Budgeting

  • Participate in the departments annual business plan.
  • Work with the Director, HCD on the yearly manpower budgeting and monthly manpower forecasting exercises.
  • Others

    Handle any special projects as may be assigned by the Director of HCD. Must possess the ability to plan, develop, and direct overall strategy and approach for such projects.

    Talent Profile

  • Degree qualified with at least 5 years talent acquisition experience in a fast paced environment of organisation with at least 500 headcount.
  • Tenacious and driven with a proven track record as a " Hunter " in talent acquisition.
  • Excellent network for hiring and internship outreach. Excellent working knowledge of governmental funding and support for hiring.
  • Ability to deal with adversity and ambiguity in a fast paced environment with calm and composure.
  • Innovative and able to conceptualise and operationalise ideas. Risk adverse and willing to venture into the untested for sourcing.
  • Multi-tasker with good prioritisation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage stakeholders of all levels, both internal and external.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, including training applications and tools. Savvy with use of social media and other innovative tools for sourcing and outreach.
  • Bilingual in both written and verbal communication.
