Job Description

  • Send cheque request & Cost Centre reports to Finance and payroll vendors to transfer funds to payroll vendors
  • File all payroll reports, payroll instructions forms with supporting documents into payroll files
  • Provides support to prepare and coordinate with Finance team for budgeting process/accrual
  • Employee income tax administration
  • Submitting claims online to appropriate authorities to claim for enhanced childcare leaves, claim and maternity leaves.
  • Prepare advices for award amounts for crediting them in Payroll.
  • Annual leave and benefit system set up
  • Orient new hires to e-leave & e-benefits systems, orientation deck
  • Coordinate contingent worker recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely, organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
  • Coordinate with hiring manager for screening of resumes. Conduct prescreening interviews. Schedule and organize interviews.
  • Support in performing reference and background checks for potential employees. Inform unsuccessful candidates

    • Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Human Resource related courses or above
  • Prior payroll and general HR operations experience
  • Prior Workday experience
  • Able to start immediate or within short notice
