Our Client:
Our client is one of the largest Japanese MNCs and their Regional HQ is looking to hire a Senior Specialist to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
As the subject matter expert on Compensation & Benefits in IBU the position exists to support IBU
Evolution through establishing our guideline flamework policy and supporting all offices to achieve full compliance while ensuring to support management's effort to be recognized as the leading employer in Asia in the construction industry through excellent compensation and benefits policy management.

* Provide C&B leadership, training and guidance to management and HR teams across all IBU offices to establish full our guideline flamework policy understanding, compliance, and sustainability (20%)
* Drive, support, monitor and report on IBU offices' compensation cycle results including CR reports. Conduct regular benchmarking reviews for each local office to ensure market competitiveness and acceptable internal relativities (20%)
* Provide strong support to Singapore office as HQ of IBU, to ensure highest standards of compliance, benchmarking, in-house consultation services and reporting to management (20%)
* Stay abreast of latest C&B trends in the construction industry and competitors, analyse data, identify trends, and make recommendations to management on improvements to our compensation policy and/or staff benefits across respective IBU offices (10%)
* Develop and implement international staff mobility strategies and policy (5%)
* Support our HR teams and recruitment function when required to make savvy recommendations on position compensation (5%)
* Support all other ad hoc requests by senior management (5%)
* The incumbent must be actively involved in IBU's platform i.e. the company's work optimisation, staff engagement and CSR platform (5%)


* Drive full compliance and prepare quarterly reports with value-adding commentary and/or proposals for management at office and IBU level. As a staff and ambassador of the HR department, the incumbent must always represent the department and the company well with exemplary professional behaviour and performance (10%)

The Requirements:

* Compensation and Benefits experience of 10-15 years in a large company reaching AM or Manager level
* MNC experience across several countries in Asia-Pacific (in a supporting C&B role)
* University Degree in HR
* Working experience with (i) job sizing methodology, (ii) salary band management techniques, (iii) compensation policy lines
* C&B Certifications / licenses is advantage
* Excellent analytical and Excel skills for compensation
* Construction industry experience is just advantage
* Excellent English communication skills both written, spoken and for managerial presentations
* Professional appearance and demeanour; can be relied upon to represent the company well when necessary
* Patient and methodical in a highly contextual communication environment
* Able to business trip within Asia as and when required (Duration usually 23 days per trip) if pandemic situation allows
* Patient with managerial ambiguity and complex decision-making practices
