Get to know our Team:
The Benefits team, under the People Rewards and Organisational Planning function within People Operations (Pops), partners closely with Pops teams in each location to design and operate Grab's benefits programmes that are both relevant to our local Grabbers and consistent with Grab's global benefits philosophy.
Get to know the role:
Reporting to the Head, Benefits, we are looking for a passionate and self-motivated teammate to join us in ideating for innovative offerings that not only differentiate Grab, but more importantly expand Grabbers' Love through benefits that bring value, meaning and purpose to Grabbers. In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive the design and implementation of new benefits programmes across Grab, working closely with internal Pops teams as well as external vendors.
The day-to-day activities:

  • Lead the implementation of new regional and local benefits programmes and ensure relevance to local market practices and compliance with legislation.

  • Bring Grab's global benefits philosophy to uplift the benefits for Grabbers everywhere.

  • Conduct benchmarking exercises and market research to ensure a competitive benefits offering.

  • Perform benchmarking and remarketing exercises for annual insurance renewals activities.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with benefits vendors to ensure the smooth delivery of benefit programmes to Grabbers and optimising benefits spend.

  • Provide benefits analysis and insights to drive benefits programmes in Grab.

  • Create Grabber awareness through engaging and creative communications of our benefits regionally.

  • Provide advisory support to internal and external stakeholders on benefits policies, processes and local legislation.

  • Work closely with internal teams including Country Pops, People Experience and other stakeholders (including Grabber Technology Solutions, Grabber Communications, Finance, etc) in the delivery of benefits to Grabbers.

  • Participate in benefit forums or perform market research to gain industry knowledge and insights in benefits practices.

The Must haves:

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in designing and administering benefits programmes across Indo-Pacific countries.

  • Experience in handling employee insurance remarketing and renewal exercises.

  • High business acumen to build business cases for benefit programmes.

  • Logical and creative in innovating and designing leading edge benefits programmes.

  • Passion to drive benefits that make a difference to Grabbers' daily lives.

  • Resilience in facing failures and constantly iterating for success.

  • Collaborative attitude in working with stakeholders both within/outside of Pops and Grab.

  • Ability to go deep into operational details and process flows.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in GSuite and Microsoft applications.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Good project management skills are needed in prioritizing and managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
