Job Description

Job Purpose

You will work closely with key stakeholders (Business, HRBP team, Corporate HR, Finance) to strategize and implement HR practices and initiatives in line with business priorities and organizations focus areas.You will also support the team to achieve operational and cost efficiencies in workforce planning and development and management of projects, which may include overseas expansion projects.


  • Establish and support the link between strategic business objectives and day to day operations
  • Lead and drive the annual manpower planning and budgeting process, and monitor the actual vs budget performance quarterly closely
  • Partner the business in training transformation plan, establish vocational training system, develop career pathway and competency align with Land Transport Industry Transformation Map
  • Keep abreast of good HR practices, review Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management policies, pay structure and make recommendations to keep both remuneration and manpower cost competitive to market
  • Oversee the development and monitoring of workforce dashboard to support planning, decision making and interventions. Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in M&A plans and/or overseas expansion manpower plan
  • Assist in streamlining, standardizing and digitalizing work processes to achieve seamless HR service delivery
  • Any other projects assigned
  • Qualifications & Work Experience

  • A well-rounded HR professional with Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Experience in driving change and integration
  • Having regional HR experience is an advantage
  • Candidate with more experience may be considered for a higher position
  • Skills

    Technical skills include:

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications such as Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
  • Good understanding of current and emerging HR processes and practices, HR systems (SAP knowledge is a must) and business intelligence tools
  • Generic skills include:

  • Ability to understand the business and value add HR initiatives
  • Forward looking and ability to provide creative solutioning in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis & forecasting
