As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, APAC you will play a pivotal role in building strategy, creating processes and delivering results and happiness in partnership with your APAC TA team.
Specifically, you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders across the Revenue, Corporate and technical business units, bringing operational rigor to the hiring processes, defining and refining practices, managing and developing your managers. You will share best practices across the wider global TA team all whilst being part of a rapidly scaling, customer-focused, remote-first company.
A Senior Manager at Zoom is expected to work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
The role:

  • Drive solutions and shapes recruiting strategies for new and existing markets across the revenue, corporate and Technical organizations

  • Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.

  • Prioritize, organise and increase capacity and resources to achieve hiring at scale

  • Effectively grow and develop a team of recruiting leaders and individual contributors

  • Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress

  • Influence multiple stakeholders within the business and across several teams

  • Bring clarity and drive decisions on complex issues that impact multiple businesses

  • Shape business decisions based on data & deep-dive analysis

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership providing functional expertise, market-related intelligence, and forecasting on recruitment issues and trends.

  • Continue to develop and expand our current cadence of stakeholder meetings, MBR/QBR's.

  • Maintain a strong relationship with the Finance and People Experience teams to ensure TA is fully informed and equipped to meet hiring demands.

  • Lead and/or participate inprojects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.

  • Understand and be confident with the fundamentals of talent acquisition, but creative, curious and innovative when considering new approaches

  • Participate in strategic planning and forecasting with stakeholders to map future hiring needs

  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

  • Deliver reporting on pipeline, forecast and other metrics to senior TA leadership and department heads

  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have/be:

  • A minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8 years and a Master's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Strong experience with organizational change and data analytics

  • Impactful experience as a 'manager of managers' and leader of high performing, accomplished recruitment teams

  • Resilience, relentless and always be ready in the face of adversity

  • Highly organized, operationally astute and data-oriented

  • Influential written and verbal communication
