Sephora is looking for a Senior Manager, Human Resources. The role reports to the Country General Manager with a functional reporting into the Vice President of Human Resources.
The mission for the role is to create and lead strategic people initiatives for Sephora Singapore. Leading a dynamic HR & Education Team, you will devise and deploy an innovative and contemporary human resources strategy and policy framework that enables the organization to meet its business objectives via a skilled and engaged workforce. You will take ownership of the development and successful deployment of best practice processes for recruiting, payroll, people development, internal communications, recognizing and rewarding teams at both retail and corporate level. You will have the ultimate responsibility for all people/HR-based activities within Singapore business from both an operational and strategic perspective.

Craft and deploy the appropriate human capital strategies and people programs for a
high- growth market.
Participate in organization design and review and deploy programs and initiatives to enable growth strategies.

Leading a team, introducing industry leading initiatives and programmes to position

Develop and deploy employee-centricity and team engagement to drive performance

Build collaborative and trusting personal relationship with key stakeholders, anticipating business needs and implement appropriate initiatives.
Working with the functional heads to build organization and people capabilities, improving
workforce profile to increase efficiencies for long term business growth.
Support and facilitate talent development
Building collaborative relationships and synergies with the HR teams in the Regional headquarter
Compensation & Benefits
Work with Regional Compensation and Benefits on salary and benefits benchmarking exercises and surveys to establish and maintain a competitive reward structure
Develop new, as well as review and enhance existing reward policies to ensure compliance
Manage the Annual Performance Review and Annual Salary Review & Promotion cycles.
Work with Business Units to ensure timely submissions including appropriate justifications for
Coach and provide guidance to Managers on managing performance issues at all levels,
including performance coaching and Performance Improvement Plans, and providing support with staff exits when necessary.
Analyse the local labour market and monitor and manage organisation structure, workforce
headcount and manpower costs to support business objectives.
Drive a robust succession planning and talent development outcomes for the country.
Prepare and manage HR budget, working closely with Finance on variance and forecasting
of people cost.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual headcount report to HQ for tracking of employee
turnover, absenteeism, diversity etc.
Coach and mentor managers on dealing with employee relation issues.
Ensure HR activities and advice comply with relevant business policies and ethical standards, legal business obligations and legislations

We would love to hear from you if you have
10+ years of experience within a HR Function, ideally in retail or in environments with many
Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders
Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
Hands-on and solution-oriented with the ability to manage some operational areas if required
on an ad-hoc basis
Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal, Written Email)
Strong interpersonal skills (listening, negotiation, influencing, and conflict management)
Change management experience
