The College is seeking a versatile, enthusiastic and committed individual in the role of : SENIOR MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position is primarily responsible for Recruitment, Employment Relations and Performance Management processes, in alignment with the College Strategic Plan.Partnering with the leadership teams, managers, employees and HR team, this role focuses on the hiring and performance management in the employee life cycle, supporting both academic and non academic staff, employment relations including the management of staff grievances and union management. This position will also play a key role in various HR change management projects that are currently underway. The successful incumbent will manage a team of four [two generalists and two administrators], across two campuses. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree, Project Management Certification [PMP; PRINCE2; Six-Sigma], Change Management Certification [Prosci; ACPM Certification or Equivalent ] EXPERIENCE8+ years experience as an HR functional partner, 3+ years experience of leading a team, preferred 3+ years experience as an HR professional in Singapore.Excellent working knowledge of Singapore Employment laws, HR practices, organizational planning and development, employee & Union relationsExperience of working in a medium to large organization with proven business partnering and project partnering skills.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple functional verticals under pressure and as per organizational priorities from time to time.Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the other functional team members.Evidence of the ability to guide & coach organization middle managers in effective team handling and constructive feedback sharing.Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizationsProject Management and Change management experience would be a plus. SKILLS & QUALITIESOutstanding interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with drive to deliver excellent services.Relationship building and employee counselling & coaching skills.Excellent written and spoken English.Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic work environment and maintain a high degree of flexibility & confidentiality where required.Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and interact with staff at all levels.Ability to support the leaders to achieve college strategy and for achieving the College and department goals.Ability to engage effectively with senior Academic staff.Support the culture of collaboration across the college and ensure that the culture of cooperation and relationship building exist at every level.Ability to define problems, evaluate solutions and actively pursue innovative solutionsAbility to work at both strategic and tactical level.Excellent organizational and self-management skillsProven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Honesty, integrity, compassion and a good sense of humour.Strong intercultural awareness and a commitment to equality and diversityExcellent computer skills. Must include knowledge of Excel & experience in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
