This position is for Office of Human Resources and Faculty Administration (HRFA)
The responsibilities of this role are:

  • You are responsible for the management and delivery of the Human Resources Financial System (HRFS) Refresh project implementation which involve the following activities:
  • Review the current state and identify/conceptualize the future state with internal stakeholders (i.e. process owners) as part of HR digitalization and transformation
  • Conduct process needs analysis to identify improvements and optimization of HR processes and evaluate new technologies for implementation as required
  • Formulate the gathering of system requirements with stakeholders
  • Identify risks and manage issues including escalation and resolution
  • Orchestrate user acceptance testing activities and manage change requests
  • Create, plan and conduct end-user training for users
  • Guide internal stakeholders to ensure data migration, data cleansing and data mapping work are executed according to plans
  • Provide guidance and facilitate with project team to keep project moving to achieve its deliverables within the timelines
  • Work with project team to develop and implement overall change management plan and training activities to ensure smooth transition to the new platform
  • Monitor and report project status to the HRFA project team
  • Act as the HR liaison with consultant/vendor for the project implementation
  • The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

  • Degree in HR/IT related fields with 8 years of experience in HR transformation projects/HRIS implementation
  • Prior extensive experience in SAP HR or any other cloud solutions
  • Deep knowledge of HR processes and operations
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver under time pressure
  • A team player with excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborate well with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent vendor management, IT project, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Good knowledge of project management methodology
