  • Provide leadership, management and guidance to the staff involved in postgraduate student recruitment activities.
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy to facilitate the recruitment of

- overseas full-time students for the Master of Technology (MTech) and Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis (GDipSA) programmes offered by the Institute of Systems Science (ISS).

- locally-based IT professionals and domain experts as part-time MTech/graduate cert students.

- locally-based non-IT graduates as full-time GDipSA students.

  • Undertake business development activities in India, China and other selected overseas markets to facilitate student recruitment, such as developing partnerships with reputed institutions, presenting ISS programmes at education fairs, arranging for media coverage of ISS programmes and conducting preview talks to potential applicants. This would require extensive travel in overseas markets to undertake student recruitment activities.
  • Manage the ISS graduate programme student recruitment operations, including arranging for advertising and other promotional activities, arranging for entrance tests and student interviews to be conducted, arranging for student registration and arranging for student visa applications.
  • Take responsibility for proposing budgets, achieving targets concerning student numbers and student quality.
  • Assist in other aspects of the administration of the ISS graduate studies programme.

Qualifications

  • A good university degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience in postgraduate education sales and marketing to overseas students.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills as well as a good team player.
  • Good knowledge and experience of the postgraduate student recruitment in multiple overseas markets. In particular, familiarity with at least two of the following markets would be essential:

India / China / Hong Kong / Taiwan / Korea/Japan / Vietnam / Myanmar / Indonesia / Thailand / Philippines / Middle-East / Europe
