We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Specialist based in our Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam office. The role entails implementing and advising line managers of various HR functions, especially in recruiting function, and undertaking relevant HR administration services in Vietnam as well as in other APAC countries where Gerber operates.. As a business support, assist in the implementation of human resources programs.

  • Responsible for talent acquisitions and identifying strong candidates for open positions. Coordinate job interviews, conduct reference checks on selected candidates and participate in the recruitment of qualified candidatesto fulfill the business needs
  • Responsible for the administration in relation to employment and termination
  • Contribute to implementing and maintaining the compensation & benefits system after investigation & analysis of current C&B level
  • Communicate with employees in respect of human resources policies and procedures
  • Maintain updated data on employee personal particulars, job specification, training records and benefits filing
  • Organize and deliver orientation and induction sessions, training and development activities and social / teambuilding events
  • Keep abreast of the local statutory regulations and common HR practices, and provide input regarding potential enhancements to current human resources practices

  • Degree holder preferably with major in business administration / social science
  • Solid track record in human resources with a minof 5 years of relevant experience gained in multinationals / sizable companies
  • Proactive, well-organized, detail-oriented, with ability to handle multiple tasks and with a high standard of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft tools and with an ERP or HRIS system
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with managers and employees
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Must have strong problem solving skills, and creativity
  • Good judgment and use of common sense and tact are extremely important
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications and good command of spoken and written English
