Roles & Responsibilities
This is a Senior Human Resources Manager role which includes strategic Business Partnering, Singapore Ofice HR oversight, and Global / Regional HR Project work.
The role will be based in the Singapore office however the incumbent is expected to be global in their thinking in many aspects of their role.
HR Business Partnering A trusted and strategic HR advisor to the business. Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, gaining trust and credibility to influence the business, develop a thorough understanding of the business needs and challenges as well as how the business operates Conduct organization diagnostic and deliver creative and innovative HR solutions that enable the organization to become more effective and achieve strategic objectives Change Management: assist and drive where appropriate changes within teams, guiding managers and employees through the process Provide guidance to the business on succession planning, performance and talent management in line with group methodologies, processes and timeframes. Manage all employee relations issues, educating the business to take accountability and manage risk Ensure a comprehensive, end to end and value add recruitment process for all vacancies in Singapore; educating the business and changing in mindset on recruitment practice and execution Conduct competency based interviews, drive the recruitment process, provide advice, market intelligence, salary data and candidate salary negotiations. Maintain agency relationships and negotiate terms and conditions Assist in the delivery and execution of global mobility cases Drive end of year compensation review and promotion process, guiding managers on their compensation decisions Working with the local HR Executive, ensure compliance requirements are met (eg. change of reporting lines, change of titles, licensing requirements fulfilled & etc.) Drives a high level of Customer Service and receives positive feedback from the business.
Singapore Entity HR Oversight Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory HR reporting, and keep abreast of local MOM, regulatory and tax changes, suggesting proposed approach for implementation and highlighting risks as necessary Proactively drive COVID management and compliance, working with MOH guidelines, the FSI Singapore Chief Executive, Compliance and Team Heads in Singapore.
Global and Regional HR Projects Lead or contribute to the design or development of global initiatives or projects. Lead or contribute to the implementation of global initiatives or projects including drafting implementation plans, stakeholder management and communications, documenting processes. Work with a global mindset and partner with HR colleagues to deliver a global solution that is fit for purpose locally. Gather information and source new information to combine and present back in a concise format. Gather and collate input and feedback.
In addition, you will be expected to be actively involved in global HR initiatives and projects, potentially leading some from Singapore. Project management, strong communication and managing a variety of stakeholders is key.
Whilst this role has no direct reports, you will be required to work closely with, coach and influence the HR Executive / Office Manager in Singapore and regional and global HR colleagues as needed.
The above duties are not exhaustive and may change from time to time depending on business and team needs.
Experience 10+ years of experience in HR, ideally in Asset Management, Financial Services or Legal industry. Ideally excellent knowledge of Singapore legislation including MOM.
Technical Competence Excellent stakeholder management Proficient in Microsoft Word & advanced Excel skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.
