Global Service Delivery

Within HSBC Operations, Services and Technology, Global Service Delivery is a leader in the development of services and processes that are designed around the customer and enable the firm to demonstrate to regulators that its processes and ways of working will deliver consistently high standards of compliance. Every day, customers all over the world are paying bills, buying homes and setting up companies and every day, Global Service Delivery teams are making sure all this happens smoothly.

Role Purpose

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. In this role, you will:

Customers / Stakeholders

  • Maintaining the customer service quality by establishing good relationship with internal and external business partners, giving accurately and timely feedback of their requests, enquiries, issues or concerns
  • Regularly reviewing the processes to identify areas for improvement and setting high internal service excellence benchmarks to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Optimize relations with regulators

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Drive staff development through soft skill training, personal development plans and performance management reviews. Reward and recognise service excellence and keep high staff morale through Celebrating Success.
  • Create an environment where skills and knowledge are openly shared to achieve department and business goals.
  • Support other ad hoc projects as and when required.

Operational Effectiveness & Control:

  • Assist in the implementation of the Group Compliance policy and HR FIM internally and foster a compliance culture
  • Compliance with internal procedures and diary watch
  • To have a tight control on operational losses, potential frauds through strong internal audit
  • Effectively drive and manage change to achieve business goals (eg. process improvements/changes in procedures)
  • Collect updated information on local labour/social insurance policies, and implement changes in compliance with state/local laws and regulations
  • Assist in monitoring vendors performance to ensure service standards are met with our requirements


  • Exposure to recruitment and payroll administration are essential.

  • A comprehensive knowledge in local labor law and regulations is required.

  • Proficient in using various kinds of PC soft wares (English and Chinese), e.g. Word, Excel and Dbase.

  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Numerate, analytical and detail/time conscious.

  • Good at English and Chinese writing skills.

  • Preferably have interviewing / counseling skills.
