Our client is a global player in the Medical industry with exciting growth plans for this region.
They have a newly created position as Senior HR Manager for Southeast Asia and India to be based at their regional office in Singapore.
This formulated partnership seeks to deliver value-added services to the management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The Senior HR Manager, SEA & India maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its' mid-range plans, culture and competition.
As Senior HR Manager for Southeast Asia, you will be taking ownership for:

  • Providing HR expertise and partner with in-country HR in areas such as succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employee learning & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, etc.
  • Ensure flawless execution of key leadership development program to optimize performance and build up future pipeline of leaders. Review/develop HR best practices to bridge current abilities to future talent needs
  • Lead / support organizational development strategies including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, coaching, work-climate studies, and/or other necessary strategies.
  • Able to coach and develop all levels of management through performance feedback and effective management processes
  • Provide guidance to management on a wide range of matters, including employee engagement, HR processes and/or company guidelines and programs
  • Align HR practices and policies with the SEA & India region and Corporate HR where applicable

Working with the VPHR APAC and Commercial VP SEA & India, you will playing a pivotal role in supporting business growth in an ever-changing business environment. You will be a key member of the senior management team, and will provide an advisory role on all human capital matters. You will deliver long term HR strategies and provide practical solutions to meet business goals.

  • 10+ years experience in a HR Business Partner role or similar, in an MNC setting, preferably with SEA or ASEAN experience
  • Superior organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and anticipate the needs of multiple client groups
  • Demonstrated ability to influence managers on change initiatives
  • Ability to be flexible in operational style to meet the needs of a multi-cultural and diversified, matrix organization
  • Ability to interpret data and provide meaningful analysis of employee engagement survey; staff turnover, salary surveys, etc.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal; and high attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills, professional presentation and conduct
  • Pragmatism and business awareness
