Roles & Responsibilities

Senior HR Executive

Armstrong Asia is looking for a Senior HR Executive specializing in Learning & Development to join the team. The incumbent will be a key team player in managing the learning & development needs for the organization to ensure that our employees have the right skills and behaviors to stay relevant in the industry.

The ideal candidate would be people-oriented and highly passionate about helping our employees achieve their learning & development needs to drive the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our organisation.


  • Work with key stakeholders to identify learning needs to design, develop and administer technical & soft skills training programmes
  • Manage & monitor the learning plans, needs and certification courses
  • Review & enhance L&D policies and procedures in line with our organisation business goals
  • Develop, implement and facilitate customize programmes
  • Source, evaluate and manage training vendors
  • Plan, manage and publicize quarterly training calendars
  • Maintenance of accurate training records, monitoring costs and maintaining budgetary control of all training activities.
  • Conduct orientation program for new hires
  • Support performance appraisal cycle, competency building and engagement initiatives
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments assigned by supervisor
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration.
  • Possess at least 5 years of learning & development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good Interpersonal & communication skills (both verbal and written) in both English & Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates regionally)
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Familiar with different types of government grants and funding for learning & development
  • Familiar with HR policies and practices pertaining to learning & development
