Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HR functions of assigned school brands in areas of recruitment & retention, employee relations/welfare, employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, HR reporting etc
  • Handle recruitment needs under respective portfolio which may be assigned for countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Australia, Thailand, etc
  • Anticipate talent requirements by actively developing a strong pipeline of top talents and consistently maintain good relationships with potential candidates
  • Ensure Job Descriptions are updated and follow company frameworks & SOPs on recruitment and people management etc
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for all Singapore employees including the administrative work (e.g. medical and dental claims, insurance matters and monthly headcount reports etc.)
  • Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of all HR records, systems, user guides and internal policies
  • Ensure completion of performance and salary reviews, own and enforce all people related local standards (annual leave, bonus structure, insurances, etc.)
  • Responsible for payroll computation on assigned school brands
  • Assist in Employee Grievances process for assigned school brands
  • Assist in market surveys from MOM, IRAS, CPF, WDA and various HR related surveys
  • Coordinate and organize team building, engagement activities
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned by immediate superior/s
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HR Generalist roles, ideally gained from education or early childhood sector
  • Strong knowledge of local (Singapore) labour regulations, HR operations and local recruitment specifics
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task in dynamic work environment
  • People oriented, meticulous, dependable, well organized and resourceful
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize, work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Required to follow work/meeting schedule for assigned school brands
  • Knowledge of Times Software would be an added advantage
  • Well versed in MS Office skills especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Additional language ability is advantageous
