SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for the implementation and administration of HR programs and provide management and employees with a full range of human resources services across all functional areas. This will include benefits administration, HR policy enforcement, onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, training, employee relations / communications, performance management, coordination with HR outsource support providers, and coordination with HR business partners outside the Philippines.

Directs the planning, development, budgeting, implementation, and administration HR functions such as employment (onboarding/offboarding), total rewards (compensation, benefits, rewards) employee relations/communications, equal opportunity, organizational development, trainings, and health and safety services programs. Provides advise to Management team in matters related to personnel policies and HR programs and recommends appropriate decisions consistent to Company strategic direction. Function also includes coordination with HR outsource support and HR Business Partners outside Philippine site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with the business to identify, develop and drive key HR initiatives that will support the short term and long-term strategies of the business.
  • Design and develops policies, procedures and programs across HR functional areas (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Labor Relations, Compensation & Benefits) in alignment Corporate HR and in compliance with local labor laws
  • Implements HR policies, procedures and programs by performing:
    • Talent Acquisition activities including Performs sourcing, screening and hiring
    • Designs, deploys and evaluates training & development programs including employee onboarding, leadership training, external trainings, etc
    • Manages benefits administration tasks covering enrolment, claims processing and benefits implementation. Handles SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth, BIR and other related matters.
    • Manages the compensation administration tasks. Implements global programs and ensures compliance to local labor wage and salary regulations
    • Implements the employee discipline process in compliance with the Code of Conduct and local labor laws
  • Innovates and develop strategies for employer branding, hiring needs analysis/plans, talent acquisition, and employee retention.
  • Responsible for the culture growth focused on the company core values including diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ensures compliance with all other labor regulations. Performs tasks necessary for government manpower filings and reporting
  • Manages the employee records (201 files, employment contracts) and issuance of necessary certificates of employment
  • Ensures consistent and accurate HR operations, including but not limited to: time keeping, document processing, preparing new employee files, maintaining employee records, and updating employment data.
  • Manages the general employee services activities: employee shuttle services, cafeteria (are we deleting the term cafeteria?)
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Conducts regular HR skip-level meetings with employees

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in Human Resources operations in a global organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general human resource policies and procedures
  • Experience in developing and updating HR manuals, policies and procedures. Track record in implementing HR programs
  • Proficient in employment and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of the principles and processes of the Human Resource function (e.g. payroll, recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, and performance management.

Applicants must be willing to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region
