Job Description

The Role

  • Provide guidance on HR policies and Employment Act to line managers and employees and address their queries
  • Handling staff grievances / staff disciplinary cases
  • Partners with business stakeholders and functional managers to acquire in-dept knowledge of the business and departments
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and proper storage of staff information and records
  • Promotes teamwork, co-operation and harmonious relationship among department staff and other employees of the company
  • Following and completing projects assigned
  • Work and collaborate with colleagues in the Centre of Excellence in communicating and disseminating the various HR exercises, initiatives, HR Policies to the line managers and employees: e.g. Performance Appraisal, Promotion Exercise, LNA, FTE budget exercise etc.
  • Positive feedback from the key management staff on the level of support received
  • Align to corporate HR objectives and support all HR Initiatives
  • Handle the operational aspect of HRBP in terms of resolving day to day staff issues and enquires
  • Work closely and co-ordinate with payroll and HRSS on all salary matters
  • Execute on-boarding and off-boarding cases
  • Provide constructive input and feedback to improve processes and outcome.
  • Any other tasks/special projects assigned.
  • Key accountabilities

  • Advising HRSS team members on the day to day operational matters within the area of work
  • Payroll related matter as per HR policies
  • Employees benefits claims as per HR policies
  • HR work process improvement
  • First level trouble shooting on work process / workflow issues
  • Recommend approaches and resolution of general staff grievance matter and staff disciplinary cases
  • Recommend approaches to contribute towards organization / corporate level projects
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant HRM experiences, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Additional Information

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and legislations
  • Good knowledge of the Employment Act
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills
