The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) is a new, unique and interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by Ministry of Education (Singapore), Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore. Hosted by NTU in partnership with NUS, IDMxS is worlds first organized effort focused on interfacing the biological and living world with the world of information technology and data science whilst providing fundamental scientific development, grounded in materials science, optics, and interfacial chemistry.
To lead the HR operations in the Institute which include but not limited to:
Support stakeholders and employees in a proactive and consultative approach on a full spectrum of HR functions in the Institute.
Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, recruitment and rewards strategies in the Institute
Manage all activities in relation to recruitment, appointment/reappointment, induction, performance appraisal and promotion exercises for staff.
Handle and manage staff/student/interns onboarding and off-boarding matters
Involvement in HR process improvement projects
Provide support on manpower planning and cost projection for the Institute
Provide support on activities relating to employee relations, employee grievances, conduct and discipline
Handle internal and external consultancy work applications
Responsible in working with the Institutes senior management, stakeholders and managers to advise on HR best practices.
Degree preferably with specialisation in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualifications.
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in HR.
Good knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws of Singapore
Experience in using Workday will be an added advantage
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Highly self-motivated and disciplined and able to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
Comfortable operating in a matrix structure and in a constantly changing environment
