Job Description

The HR PS Lead is the subject matter expert in Payroll, Work Passes, Staff Benefits, Leave, Awards, Staff Development and both pre-boarding & onboarding for new hires. He/She is expected to collaborate and build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and departments within the University as well as external parties, particularly Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and other government offices.

He/She is expected to supervise the team to ensure that tasks and enquiries are resolved and completed on time in order to meet the service level agreements (SLA). The HR PS Lead will oversee the standardisation of process delivery and drive future improvements in customer service and relations standards within the teams.


  • Human Resource Management, or business related degree
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications is desirable
  • Good HR knowledge and in-depth experience in HR Operations and Service Delivery including client support, case management and implementing change initiatives
  • Preferably 8 years of relevant experience in managing HR processes and minimum 3 years in supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of direct reports
  • Familiar with the regulatory compliance on Work Passes, Employment Act and local immigration rules
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in implementing continuous process improvement
  • In-depth technical competencies in Workday and broad functional knowledge of HR
