Job Description

We are currently looking for a Rewards & HR Services Manager to be based in Singapore, and be responsible for implementing rewards and benefits strategies. This role will assist in reviewing that rewards, benefits, policies and performance are locally competitive and focused on diversity and inclusion to ensure accessibility and equality of approach to all colleagues. The successful candidate will also oversee HR operations to ensure efficient and reliable execution.

Reporting into the Head of HR Southeast Asia, this role will be accountable for ensuring that our total compensation package is guided by our philosophy which is geared towards providing employees with a locally competitive total compensation package and a strong employee benefits programme, so as to attract and retain the best talent for the business.

Your job

  • Proactively keeping abreast of market conditions, proposing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies, polices and guidelines, ensuring that the we remain relevant and competitive while maintaining internal equity.
  • Manage and review salary benchmarking, annual salary review and bonus and job grading activities
  • Drive employee welfare and benefits program review to keep abreast with the market practices, and in compliance with global/regional policies as well as local government legislations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and responsible for data analytics, internal/external reporting and audit
  • Manage payroll specialist on payroll cycles, individual income tax processing and to ensure full compliance to local statutory requirements, including statutory reporting
  • Deliver excellent execution of HR operational processes to provide an exceptional employee experience from hiring and onboarding to exit
  • Identify improvement from existing HR procedures and practice, and provide solutions to continuously optimize the operational process
  • Liaison with the global mobility team in onboarding and managing the employee life cycle of delegates
  • Vendor management including checking of invoices and keeping proper records.
  • Support the Regional Rewards team and SEA HR team on key projects such as the implementation of a Global HRIS, etc, where appropriate
  • Your profile

  • Solid Rewards and HR operations experience gained in a multinational organization with regional experience in a matrix set up
  • Comprehensive experience in developing and maintaining robust and HR policies and rewards and operations processes.
  • Change agent approach with focus on business value creation, proactive, pragmatic, persistent, determined, dynamic thinking and perform under pressure to deliver within short deadlines
  • Ability to evaluate complex or diverse information to ensure HR policies and procedures are relevant, competitive and up to date
  • Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of the Singapore Employment Act, rewards and payroll systems, processes, computation and methodology
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skill and a team player
