Regional Senior HR Exec (perm) with a MNC Minimum 5 years of professional HR generalist experience. Also has some HR project experience (covering automation /efficiency/process improvement) Good with Excel including V look up and Pivot Tables is preferred (but not a must) Singapore payroll processing experience and some regional exposure is preferred (but not a must)
Our client is a logistics global MNC with HQ based in Singapore. The location is at a location next to the Paya Lebar MRT station.
This is an APAC role to provide HR (and some admin) support on a wide range of services including but not limiting to talent acquisition, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll, employee engagement and social welfare.
For this role, you play an integral role to suggest/implement best practices and participates actively in HR projects.
HR projects Be actively involved in the design and implementation of HR strategies, projects and initiatives Manage and facilitate performance management system/campaign including objective setting, development planning and calibration processes Assess various staffing needs to determine methods to address current and future conditions, including retention management, realignment, recruitment planning, and career development Develop training plans (gap analysis) and identify learning opportunities for employee development Work with HR team in APAC on a regular basis on advisory, operational support issues and program initiatives Participate in the draft/review and implementation of polices, processes and procedures
HR Operations Manage the end-to-end recruitment processes of mid and junior level positions Proactively work with the business leaders on internship requirements/recruitment fairs Handle and coordinate all on/off-boarding process including new hires confirmation Plan and organize orientation/training programme for new/existing and overseas employees. Conduct HR orientation including E-Leave system and medical insurance process Maintain/update leave record for Singapore and other countries (as applicable) Administration of statutory claims (NS, childcare/maternity claims etc.), work pass (application, renewal and cancellation) and tracking of benefits-in-kind for tax filing purposes Local payroll processing including annual AIS submission, IR21 filing Check/process of overseas subsidiaries payroll Timely submission of reports (e.g. GCP, costing, payroll, leave, statutory surveys etc.) Participate in the renewal and administration of employee/travel/office insurances Handle and verify staff claim (medical, dental, mobile phone claims etc.) Process and prepare HR/employment related letters Support the collation of data for analytics and reporting purposes Proactively identify gaps in the existing processes, propose and implement changes necessary to establish good HR practices Upkeep and maintenance of employees personal files and records
Office Administration Guide and assist (as required) the Administrator to ensure the smooth execution of administration duties Stand-in for reception function when the recept is on leave Learning opportunities HR projects experience Regional exposure
Essential requirements Minimum Diploma in HR related field, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution Minimum 5 years of professional HR generalist experience from a MNC environment. Some experience covering HR projects (automation/process improvement/ introducing best practices) is required Hands-on payroll experience in EasyPay or any other payroll system highly preferred (but not a must) Regional HR exp is highly preferred, but not a must Good knowledge in Singapore Employment Act High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion Proficient in Microsoft office A team player with initiative and good interpersonal skills Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin (as this role will require the person to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts overseas that come with this regional job scope) Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Experience using Excel including V look up and Pivot Tables is preferred but not a must Able to be very hands-on in terms of extracting data/info. Very meticulous with a good eye for detail. Action orientated with a sense of urgency Keen to learn and can thrive in a faster paced regional MNC environment. Added relevant(but not a must) Work knowledge in talent development, job evaluation/grading or salary structure Interviewing, time management and strong problem solving skills Knowledge of regional payroll
