Our client, worlds leading manufacturers and retailers of quality footwear is currently hiring a Regional HR Manager. Based in Singapore, the Regional HR Manager would be accountable for the overall HR support to the companys business, organization and employees across the region




Regional scope: APAC


Reporting directly to: President APAC




Main objective of the role: be a trusted Business Partner to the President of the Region and an Ambassador for the Region of the Global HR Strategy of the Company.






Job Responsibilities:
  • Partners with the leadership team and HQ to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Enhance the development of employees and manage L&D programs while working closely with HR Business Partners.
  • Identify development needs in form of Training, Workshop, Program, Policy etc.
  • Align with HR Business Partners to improve and support the training nomination processes for both Group and Brand level programs
  • Ensure the implementation of the global HQ learning and development action plans across the region
  • Participate in various People Programs and Projects which will bring positive impact to overall employee experience
  • Lead employee engagement deep dive, action planning and implementation in corporate office
  • Identify a talent pool of talents at all level and in all functions
  • Maintains compliance with regional and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Excellence in recruitment mindset and guidelines within the HR community
  • Participate in regional HR projects and Support all the annual key HR processes




Skills & Requirements:
  • 8-12 years of HR related experiences in Retail ideally in a generalist role with a focus on the Talent Development and Talent Acquisition
  • Candidate with a global and agile mindset would be more successful
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management are necessary
  • Problem solver, able to multi-task, prioritize and establish deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
