Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to consolidate her/his HR operations knowledge and in the meantime stretch her/his limits.Not only will she/he cover the HR ground work as well as gaining hands-on experiences in a wide variety of HR initiatives and involved in implementation for Hong Kong and Macau offices.

Position Responsibilities

HR Projects

  • Support HR Lead and work closely with Regional HR teams on the execution of HR operations in time of reorganization, new legal entity setup and/or merger and acquisition
  • Support in executing key initiatives and monitoring project timelines
  • Prepare headcount and staff cost budget / forecast / report on request
  • Customize and cascade global and regional HR news; clarify when required
  • Talent Acquisition

  • Support full-life cycle recruitment needs for the business including direct sourcing techniques, consultative skills, and compensation, ensuring that every stage from the raising of the initial staff requisition to final appointment is carried out in accordance with global operating procedures and adhere to best practice principles
  • Build strong relationships with the various line and functional clients to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process
  • Manage the offer process for external candidates, including pre-employment screening and offer development
  • HR Operational Supports

  • Coordinate on-boarding logistics with different stakeholders
  • Conduct HR formality for new hires
  • Communicate and execute HR policies and operational procedures
  • Administer the effectiveness of HR operations processes and identifies opportunities and solutions for improvements
  • Ensure the employee data accuracy and manage global and local HR system functionalities
  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Support compensation and benefits operations including monthly payroll, final payment, pension, eLeave, insurance plan, staff purchase program and other miscellaneous benefits plan administration
  • Support employer tax returns filing
  • Support annual year end cycle support, report generation, data migration/verification and staff communication
  • Education & Experience

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience ideally in a fast-pacing and matrix organization; with solid experience in HR operations preferred
  • HR exposure in merger and acquisition or new legal entity setup is desirable
  • Mature, adaptable, flexible and able to solve problems in logical and practical approach
  • Must possess the analytical and creative skills to understand issues and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to foster positive and influential relationships with people from all levels
  • Must be knowledgeable with Hong Kong Labor Ordinance and Provident Fund matters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese
