Job Description



Job Mission:
Provides management on operational effectiveness and deployment of recruiting resources to ensure appropriate recruitment processes are being executed in a consistent and timely manner within service delivery expectations. Responsible for leading a team of in-house recruiters and collaborating with our RPO partners to delight key stakeholders in filling critical positions and managing multiple site locations.


Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):


Reporting to the Head of Business Services Human Resources Asia Pacific, the incumbent is to manage the delivery of exceptional services for the Asia Pacific region.
The incumbent is expected to drive productivity, continuous improvement and innovation through process optimization on recruitment-related processes across all Asia Pacific markets.

  • Act as primary point of contact for business HRs, and where needed executive business leaders and hiring managers for business lines related to the recruitment process
  • Work collaboratively with Hiring Managers / HR Business Partners in assigned business lines and the RPO vendors to develop comprehensive staffing strategies
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with management through proactive communication and commitment to understanding the services and needs of the assigned business lines
  • Cultivate and sustain effective working relationships with business stakeholders, HR Business Partners, HR People Solutions (CoE) especially Talent Acquisition and local market HRs.
  • Negotiate effectively with business stakeholders, candidates, and RPO vendors; ensure best outcomes that are beneficial to all parties
  • Act as key point of contact for internal stakeholders and RPO vendors
  • Monitor and improve overall candidate experience from initial screening to on-boarding to orientation
  • Drive RPO partners to deliver against the recruiting lifecycle to ensure all agreed KPIs, SLAs, standards and metrics are met and/or exceeded
  • Ensure accurate reporting and provide recruitment analytics/metrics for management review
  • Manage, mentor and train a team of internal recruiters
  • Manage recruitment workload activities and resources for assigned business lines and redistributes work as necessary
  • Identify and implement operational strategies to impact costs through continual process improvements
  • Work to deliver high quality market intelligence report on talent landscape
  • Educate and influence hiring managers regarding talent market landscape and potential sourcing strategies
  • Take ownership of overall Recruitment operational effectiveness, monitor the RPO vendors ad internal recruiters on recruitment processes, requisition status and requisition management
  • Improves operational efficiency by providing guidance to recruiting team members on recruitment best practices
  • Drives for recruitment process harmonization across different markets, ensure that selection/assessment criteria are consistent
  • Supports Head of Business Services Human Resources and assist in ad-hoc projects to support a growing business

  • Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Human Resource or equivalent
  • Minimum 6-8 years experience in specialized recruitment, staffing and/or RPO operations
  • Experience in luxury retail is highly desired
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin and/or Cantonese would be advantageous with an emphasis on candidate experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership/supervisory role, managing a team of remote/on-site recruiters
