Reporting to the Head of Human Resources for Hong Kong, the incumbent will be a trusted advisor and a change advocate for the business. S/he will support the design and execution of people agenda which aligns to the overall business strategy of CIGNA Hong Kong. This includes but not limited to talent acquisition, development, engagement, organizational design, succession planning, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acted as a deputy for the Head of HR in his/her absence.
  • Support Head of HR in strategic planning for HR priorities to enable overall business imperatives.
  • Provide both strategic and operational HR advice and services to business in driving company-wide transformational people initiatives.
  • Partner with Centre of Excellence to deliver HR strategies and priorities such as future-state workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Support Head of HR in defining and executing the companys Employee Value Proposition.
  • Ensure quality of talents in light of the companys defined core values and behaviours in the course of resourcing.
  • Manage talent review, development and succession planning in consultation with the business.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives including pulse survey, focus groups, and subsequent activities.
  • Review compensation and benefits for employees to ensure companys competitiveness and equity among employees.
  • Partner with business and Finance in budget planning and forecast.
  • Formulate and implement HR policies and projects as required.
  • Prepare HR-related metrics and management reporting.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 10 years experience in HR
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in a broad array of HR functional competencies
  • Strong partnership mindset and genuine interest in championing people initiatives
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and be flexible in roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese (Written and Spoken)
