Job Description

Manager, HR Business Partnering & HR Operations
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Group Human Resources, the incumbent will provide business partnering for assigned unit as well as supervisory oversight for overall HR services delivery and talent acquisition activities across NHG HQ. He/ She will lead and guide a team of HR professionals to support the delivery of HR services and provide sound HR advice on manpower related challenges.
The main areas of responsibilities include:
  • Provide business partnership to Head of Departments and people managers of assigned unit to address key manpower challenges and ensure that business needs are met
  • Support organisation strategic plans to better attract, engage and retain key talents
  • Partner with assigned unit on the execution of HR cyclical activities such as annual performance management, talent review and compensation cycle
  • Supervise a team of HR professionals to deliver HR services to our employees in an efficient and effective manner, and through collaboration with Group HR functions and other key stakeholders
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters on hiring and selection of candidates for mid-level positions
  • Develop strong relationship and liaise with regulatory bodies, unions and other stakeholders on employment matters
  • Regularly review internal HR plans, programmes and processes to ensure that they stay relevant, up-to-date and effective in addressing organizational and employee needs, and are in compliance with local employment legislation
  • May lead or support cluster-level and HQ-level projects as assigned
  • Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent with at least 8-10 years of working experience in human resource function covering HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and HR Operations
  • Possess at least 3-5 years of experience in direct management of HR professionals
  • Strong working knowledge on Singapore employment laws and related legislation as well as hands-on experience in employee and union relations
  • Prior working experience in healthcare or retail sectors are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in written in spoken English
  • Ability to communicate and engage all levels of employees including senior management and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Possess strong prioritization and decision making skills
