The Learning and Development team supporting Amazon Web Services Talent Acquisition (TA) is seeking a learner-centric Program Manager to build and manage large-scale, innovative learning programs focused on recruiters, recruitment coordinators, recruitment managers, and program managers.
The ideal candidate possesses the ability to partner with global stakeholders to bring the right resources together to enable the TA team in Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China to onboard, learn and develop the knowledge and skills needed to hire highly talented individuals that will support the AWS business. You are independent, creative, self-driven with the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment with minimal guidance, and demonstrates good judgment. You are the voice of the learner and will ensure their needs are at the forefront of every deliverable. You are knowledgeable in adult learning strategies for performance-based outcomes, can adapt and move quickly. You should be comfortable managing multiple concurrent and independent tasks in an fast-paced environment, while meeting milestones and deadlines.
Key job responsibilities
Coordinate and manage training administration (i.e. LMS registration, logistics, granting system permissions, etc.)
Partner regional, functional and industry TA teams to define L&D needs, as well as identifying and implementing country- and functional-specific delivery programs.
Assist in continuous improvement and development of global curriculum while adapting global content to APJC local nuances.
Apply adult learning principles when developing training programs and materials that best fit the needs of the learner and content (online, classroom, or blended learning methods).
Create mechanisms for adoption, inspection and measuring the success of training programs.
Design and deliver TA-related training to our AWS business stakeholders. This training could range from interview skills training, to recruitment process training for new business managers.
3+ years experience working with training software such as learning management systems (LMS), basic learning technologies (e.g., webinar tools), and MS Office.
5+ years of experience in a training program management role or similar with a bachelors degree (in communication, education, or related field) or 8+ years without a degree.
Experience administering and managing new hire onboarding training programs, continuing education programs, or similar training and development projects/initiatives.
Proven project management skills, including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, delivering results with tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exposure to or experience using e-learning software (Articulate Storyline 2, Rise, or similar), Cornerstone LMS (or similar), and conferencing tools.
Experience within Human Resource / Talent Acquisition function
A demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leaders and regional stakeholders to implement large-scale learning strategies across a matrixed organisation.
