Roles & Responsibilities

Hiring a Junior HR Manager, in the sports industry, up to SGD5,000 per month
Your new company
Our client is a specialised sports academy, with a strong belief in implementing youth development through sports to groom the next generation of athletes. It has been around Singapore for the past 6 years and is looking to established themselves further and grow. With that said, they are looking for their 1st HR Manager to be part of the growing management team.
Your new role
Based in Bukit Merah, youll play a key role as a Junior HR Manager covering the full spectrum of HR activities to support the academy. You will be the go-to person on all HR matters, assisting the management in building better processes and systems to enhance the staff engagement.

  • Implement effective sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection techniques for new staff
  • (including applications of work passes, dependants passes or other staff licenses) to ensure compliance while attracting the best talent.
  • Prepare and maintain all documentation related to employment including those associated with hiring, termination, transfers, and promotions.
  • Develop and Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual appraisal and
  • 360 evaluations)
  • Assess training needs and coordinate L&D plans for all employees
  • Discuss and address employee relations issues or any other concerns or grievances
  • Manage C&B packages and referral bonus programs
  • Design and maintain HR policies, procedures, standards, and regulations in alignment with Singaporean labour laws
  • Responsible for weekly team meetings and organize annual team bonding events
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and promote a positive, productive and
  • cooperative working environment
  • Work closely with the management to strategically plan HR initiatives
  • What you'll need to succeed
    An individual who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong and solid relationships internally and with clients would be an asset to the academy. You should have good knowledge in MOM regulations and local legislation laws, and be willing to adopt a hands-on approach to your job and be an agile contributor.
    You should be a meticulous and organised individual with the willingness to explore new and creative HR ideas to support business needs.
