BUSINESS TITLE: Human Resources Specialist / Senior Human Resources Specialist

JOB PROFILE/GJF LEVEL: Professional I / II, People Services

BRAND/FUNCTION: Human Resources

LOCATION: Singapore

REPORTING TO: Manager, Life Cycle Services, People Services


This position is responsible for handling all activities of HR processes set out for various stages of employees Life Cycle to achieve customer satisfaction including On-to-Offboarding and Payroll Processing across the region.


  • Handles the end to end process of compensation, benefits and HR process administration and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Review and handle payroll administration processes for Office & Retail & other Offshore offices (if and when required) and compile monthly reports
  • Maintain systems to ensure all changes are updated and recorded in a timely manner and implement accurate and timely reward related employee changes for payroll and benefits management
  • Understands the case management approach in order to ensure accurate and timely resolutions are provided to the inquirers.
  • Educate employees on self-service options available for example, Workday/Workday App and how to provide navigation support.
  • Interface with local/country HR teams as the case may require ensuring services are delivered in accordance with business standards and requirements.
  • Report non-compliance and partner with Lifecyle Lead to ensure process effectiveness and to seek continuous improvement.
  • Support the People Services Lead in driving change for system or process improvement implementations.
  • Involvement in the conduct of special studies or special projects relating to People Services function or cross-functional projects as required

  • Degree in HR or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience including Payroll, Compensation & Benefits experience
  • Hands-on knowledge in Workday system is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of local labour law and HR practices including general compliances.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and problem solver
  • Experience delivering outstanding customer service in a metric-oriented environment.
  • Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goal
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior HR Specialist
