Role
This position will be the key driver of the hotels talent management and culture development, reporting directly to the General Manager and heading up all HR disciplines for the hotel.
You will be responsible all HR activities and the end-to-end employee lifecycle through the identification and delivery of HR strategies to support business goals, being the primary business partner to all departments, and the ambassador of the hotels culture to inspire and drive the talents and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
Lead the HR team to provide full spectrum of Human Resources functions for hotel operations including recruitment, employee retention, C&B, learning & development, budgeting, performance management, staff relations and HR annual exercises
Work closely with hotels management team to build people culture and execute human resources strategies
Ensure smooth operation of the hotel and opening of new outlets through manpower planning, recruitment strategy development and execution, executive communications, and upkeep of excellent service standard
Identify the talent acquisition strategy and lead the process to ensure a positive experience throughout the entire recruitment cycle for all candidates, and a smooth onboarding process for all new employees
Be proactive in driving employee learning and development strategies through identifying training needs, formulating training plan and implementation of programs with the support of HR team members
Oversee the C&B functions including monthly payroll, employee benefits, budgeting and annual compensation review exercise
Drive employee engagement activities, maintain employee relations, ensure strong communications and bonding among all employees through demonstration of a supportive and positive workplace culture
Work closely with other departments on manpower planning and talent development to build high performing teams
Handle employee grievance and conduct investigation for any complaints that may be raised
Prepare HR reports, accept ownership and perform any other HR duties as required
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality or relevant discipline
Minimum 8 years of solid experience in hospitality or service industry, with at least 5 years in similar capacity
Well verse of Labour Ordinance, and related laws and regulations
Experience in learning and development will be an advantage
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Proactive, strong sense of responsibility, pleasant and people oriented
Strong in communications, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
Good problem-solving skills and willing to take challenge
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient with Microsoft Office and any related software
