Experience requirements

  • Minimum4-5 years of HR experience, preferably with experience from a related industry with sales and service operations. HR Manager experience is preferred.

  • Progressive experience in which HR talent has impacted operational success.

  • Proven management record.

  • Experience in local labor relations.

Knowledge/ Educational requirements

  • University degree of Psychology, Legal, or any discipline from HR related educational background.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Vietnam.

  • Administration and computer literacy skills, preferably MS Office.

Personality requirements

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skill at all levels.

  • Pro-active and a team player.

  • Self-confidence, diplomacy, flexibility and patience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

  • Negotiations, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities.

What you will do

Job description/ Mission

  • Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will provide HR leadership and Guidance to company in Vietnam, and for all its 3 Business Areas operation in the country (CT, CR, IT). She/ He will also be part of the CT Management team.

  • As a Human Resources Manager, your mission will focus on adapting and implementing People Management with stronger focus on Competence Development process to correspond with the growing operational needs of the Company.

  • The Human Resources Manager must also be able to provide high quality Human Resource support and processes to all the business area unit managers, coordinate with each Divisional HR Managers with all BA, as well as participate and/or lead HR projects and teams.

  • Working together with the GM, Regional GM's, as well as the CT Management team to ensure that operational HR and People Management is aligned with Group strategy.

  • Provide high quality HR support to company in Vietnam including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment, compensation, policy development and execution, immigration, training and development and compliance.

  • Serve as the key contact for compliance reporting, such as such as internal reporting for Vietnam legal entity.

  • Serve as an ambassador of The Way We Do Things and ensure compliance with same.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with respective Business Areas and Divisional Managers by providing guidance and counsel on HR matters.

  • Manage National HR vendors, such as job boards, tax, immigration, outsourcing company background check providers as well as other vendors as established from time to time.

  • Actively participate as a member of the local HR Network.

  • Actively participate in and/or lead assigned HR projects within the Group.

  • Participate in HR audits of business units.

  • Provide support for merger and acquisition activity, such as identifying and addressing Integration issues, developing on-boarding material etc.

  • Provide, when required or requested, specific HR services to a business unit(s).

  • Recommend new and/or improved programs to increase employee morale.

  • Conduct HR research related to HR trends, competitive benchmarks, compliance/legislative initiatives etc.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in an assigned area(s), for example immigration, expatriate programs etc.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Employer branding, recruitment and staffing.

  • Compensation and benefits administration.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility.

  • Competence development and Performance management including training and coaching initiatives, activities and programs.

  • Creation and interpretation of HR policy including employee and local labor relations General affairs and its administration.

  • To work in synergy with other HR Managers within the region via close collaborations and discussions with responsible HR team.

  • Review present compensation structure (according to IPE guidelines) and benefit packages, including pension plan and employee related insurance.

  • Travelling in different branches of the country to ensure HR related matters are continued and implemented.
