This role provides an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced, highly skilled, and engaging Human Resources Director to help lead our Asian Operations in achieving its vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and based in Singapore, the HR Director - Asia is responsible for leading and implementing highly effective programs and projects, reviewing, and improving organisational procedures, policies and frameworks of all people related matters across existing and emerging markets throughout the Asian region. Currently the Asia region consists of Singapore, China, Japan, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
The successful candidate will have a strong skillset in building the capability of leaders and employees, and holds a successful track record of designing, developing and executing innovative people and culture strategies, to maximise the potential and ongoing success across the business.
As a natural influencer and leader, the HR Director will provide hands-on practical advice, coaching and business partnership to the HR team, as well as operational functions to ensure our workforce is effectively performing against organisational objectives.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the following:
7-10 years of experience in leading, developing, influencing, and embedding a positive workplace culture, with proven ability to flex between strategic and operational requirements.
Strategic leadership skills and proven success in influencing Senior Leadership teams and organisation-wide HR initiatives and workplace change, in a multi-national setting.
Highly effective project management, planning and implementation skills.
Critical decision-making ability with a natural ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Strong focus on customer experience and delivering high quality customised solutions to meet the varying needs and requirements across the organisation.
Sound knowledge of relevant local workplace legal frameworks.
Proven experience in executing workforce planning and mobility needs to optimise capability and performance.
Multiple language capabilities would be highly desirable.
