Roles & Responsibilities

Human Resource Manager

What you will do:

  • Developing HR strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Overall In Charge for HRIS system for claims, leave, employee profile, payroll and time clock.
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Assists international employees with relocation assignments and related HR matters.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, such as:
  • - Involved in Due Diligence and Audit checks

    - Coordinating PhD sponsorship with universities.

    - In charge of travel arrangements for all employees including Management.

    - Employment Pass applications and appeal when required


    Bachelor's degree at least 8+ years of strong HR professional, progressive experience is required, at least 3-5 years as HRBP role in High tech company, MNC is preferred.

    Experience partnering with multiple business leaders in a fast paced business setting which is in high growth mode.

    A systematic knowledge system of human resource management theory, Experience in HR modules such as Business Partnering, Compensation & Benefits, performance management and Employee Retention is required.

    Strong business partnering skills and HR acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and experience working in an entrepreneurial environment with strong multitask skills.

    Demonstrated ability to coach managers to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness. Ability to influence and partner with different level of organization.

    Excellent communication (both English and Chinese) and presentation skills.

    Have good oral and written expression ability, communication coordination and organization skills, serious and responsible, rigorous, and upright, strong ability to resist stress.

    Experience in working with Global teams like APAC and EURO would be an added advantage.
