Contributing to Singapores 30by30 Strategy, our next mega farm will go live in Singapore by Q1 2022 with a total production capacity of 500,000 kg of greens for local consumers annually. Lets game change food security together!

About the Job

As a food and technology enthusiast, you will be part of a dynamic and international team with the mission to develop, maintain and optimize our smart indoor vertical farming operations.

Our team in Singapore is currently looking for a HR Manager to handle the daily HR operations of our newest farm. You'll manage and oversee all personnel related processes to enable smooth farm operations. We will rely on your flexibility and foresight to ensure that our local team is taken care of, and company goals and objectives are accomplished. You'll work very closely with the local team and our international HR departments. It is your passion to solve problems pro-actively, you have excellent communication skills, and you are very detail oriented? What youll do

  • Handle the full spectrum of the local HR function, including but not limited to all aspects of recruitment, employee development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits and other administrative duties.
  • Be abreast with the latest recruitment channels and strategies to improve the hiring success rate for the positions you are responsible for, embedding best practices within the team and expanding the sourcing channels in use.
  • Partner closely with the operations function to understand their requirements, recruitment, and training needs.
  • Initiate activities and events to ensure that the corporate culture and values are translated into the work culture.
  • Lead talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Manage and ensure monthly payroll processing and official documentations.
  • Provide support in formulating and enhancing HR policies, Compensation & Benefit administration, and ongoing improvements of all HR processes.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing concerns, grievances, disciplinary problems, etc.
  • Ensure local legal compliance throughout Human Resources Management.
  • Identify eligible manpower grants and manage HR budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • What youll need

  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience within HR and a passion for Talent Management
  • Knowledge of local employment regulations and experience in working with Singaporean government agencies, e.g., MOM
  • A pro-active mindset, flexibility, and an eye for details in a fast paced, quickly changing international environment
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Careers Future, ADP, LinkedIn) and good MS Office skills
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
