Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to Executive Chairman, you will lead a team of specialists in the areas of talent acquisition, manpower planning, compensation and benefits and budgeting. You will manage manpower planning in accordance to expansion requirements and to provide strategic advice on employer branding, talent acquisition, and workforce and vendor management.

You should have a degree in the relevant business discipline and 10 years of experience in an MNC or local organisation with regional footprint. You will come with a proven track record in managing a team and strong stakeholder management skills. Prior experience working within a Matrix structure will be an added advantage.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of human resource, administrative and building facility functions of the organisation and group.
  • Lead and implement corporate projects in line with business strategies.
  • Work closely with business leaders on organisational change management, employee issues and sustainability.
  • Support and align growth and development of people to meet the business needs and challenges.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to and keep to date.
  • Planning and organizing the activities and actions of the HR department.
  • Work closely with different Head of Departments to provide HR advice on various aspects, i.e. manpower planning, employee retention, and foreign manpower matters.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to support company business growth.
  • Conducting annual salary and compensation surveys and findings.
  • Spearheading personnel policies and procedures.
  • Administering benefits program.
  • Overseeing company annual budget.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration/Business Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of human resources and office administration managerial hands on experiences.
  • Experience in business partnering and change management skills/experience, preferably from retail/service industry.
  • Strategic HR competencies required included talent management, leadership development, time management, succession planning and coaching.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude, independent, strong leadership, excellent project management skills, influential and business skills with integrity.
