A professional institute is seeking an experienced candidate to fill a HR Systems Manager (three-year contract) job. About the HR Systems Manager (three-year contract) Role:
The HR Systems Manager will be responsible for managing HR Information System and related HR systems from end to end, including managing the roll out of system projects and enhancements, systems operations as well as partnering with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve efficient operations and optimal end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for HR systems (SAP HCM ECC 6.0 and non-SAP systems) and main intermediary between HR users and IT for all HR systems
  • Manage and facilitate all project activities including collating and analysing business requirements, providing recommendations with due consideration for the impact on related systems, process and integrations, systems prototype, data migration, testing, training, change management, go-live and post-production support
  • Plan, direct and coordinate all HR systems activities, including prioritisation of change requests and enhancements, that are in alignment with HR processes, and across the employee life cycle
  • Drive the use of dashboards by HR users for data-driven decision making and analytics
  • Take charge of the planning and implementation of the new HRIS, including the establishing and executing of the project management plan from tender, approval, implementation to post go-live
  • Be involved in any ad hoc HR projects

    Key Requirements:

  • Qualified bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years' experience in SAP HCM ECC 6.0
  • Experience in HRIS implementation (SAP SuccessFactors/WorkDay) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience in the business analysis, design, development and/or support are an advantage
  • Strong communication, organisational, and relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of key HR processes and ability to effectively communicate, present, and discuss analysis to effectively drive fact-based decision making across all levels of the organisation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and systems such as SAP
