We are looking for a highly-driven HR Strategy and Planning Manager, APAC to join our regional team.

In this exciting highly visible new role under the HR Strategy team, you will be focusing on three main areas:

  • Developing the HR Strategy and roadmap for our People team,
  • Planning and managing our People budgets, and
  • Managing workforce planning for the company.

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and/or update the companys HR strategy on a periodic cadence, including identifying and prioritising major cross-functional OKRs and initiatives by synthesising:I. Internal business performance and competenciesII. External trends (market, customer, competitor, regulatory, technological etc)
  • Provide inputs and advice to the leadership team on key issues (e.g. strategic initiatives, business priorities and major investments) based on clear issue framing, systems-level thinking and rigorous analyses
  • Support the design and implementation of the HR Operating Model, and its associated roles, processes and technology
  • Manages the HR budget setting/review process including creation and monitoring of budgets
  • Design and implement a workforce planning process in collaboration with key HR and Finance teams
  • Manages and facilitates the planning and allocation of workforce and headcount, including the change and communication process for headcount targets
  • Leveraging data and reporting for headcount updates, headcount budgets and ensuring data driven decisions are being made by our leaders and partners
  • Staying abreast of best practices for workforce planning (talent mix, location strategy) and serving as the subject matter expert for our business leaders and HR teams
  • Requirements:

  • A degree with good honours from a top tier university in any discipline with 5-10 years of experience in HR strategy planning, workforce planning or management consulting
  • Ability to construct and deliver clear presentations to senior company executive
  • Experience in analysing and quantifying complex strategic issues tied to long term People operations growth
  • A love for numbers and problem-solving, with strong ability to think creatively
  • Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • A natural leader who displays integrity, humility and responsibility, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathise and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and at all levels of experience
  • A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Advanced spreadsheet modelling skills
