HR Manager (West)
Review and improve the HR and Admin policies & procedures
Plan, direct, coordinate and review the work plans and system for HR team
Ensure HR policies comply with current Employment Act and government regulations
Develop and administer department budget and monitor expenditures
Responsible for overall manpower planning and recruitment of employees
Responsible for all staff payroll administration function such as tax returns, CPF contributions, etc
Identify training needs of employees, develop and manage employee training program and recommend improvement in program structure and activities
Administer welfare matters and organise staff activities
Conduct employees counselling, handling employee grievances and disciplinary problems
Oversee the collation /update of SOP, Job Description, Employee Handbook and L&D matters
Requirements
A degree in Business, HR or equivalent, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in HR, HR business partnering experience will be an advantage.
Good knowledge in the specific HR functional areas of staffing, benefits and policy administration, grievance handling and disciplinary procedures, and employee relations.
Familiarity of Singapore employment-related laws and regulations, and competent experience and understanding of other HR functional areas such as performance management, employee engagement and retention, change management, and learning and development.
Ability to balance planning and strategizing work with hands-on and practical application, while being comfortable with making independent decisions, evaluating and managing conflicting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment
