  • Reporting to the CEO, the Manager for Human Resources plays a critical leadership role, and is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the full spectrum of Human Resources function, namely recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits (C&B), learning and development (L&D), and employee communications and engagement.

  • Lead a team to manage the full spectrum of HR function
  • Formulate and implement HR policies and plans in support of strategic business objectives
  • Work with Business Units and Functional Heads on manpower planning and headcount management, and implement effective recruitment and retention policies to meet the Group's manpower needs
  • Develop and manage Group's manpower budget and ensure HR programs are delivered in a cost-effective and the most efficient manner
  • Ensure all aspects of operational HR workflows, including payroll management, compliance, performance metrics and reporting are consistently executed in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure C&B policies and practices are regularly reviewed and updated to attract and retain talents; make recommendations to improve/update C&B policies as and when needed
  • Conduct training needs/skills matrix analysis, develop and regularly evaluate L&D programs to ensure relevancy and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement initiatives for employee communications and engagement, focusing on "START" values, employee mental health, sense of belonging and positive workplace culture
  • Conduct Employee Engagement Survey regularly and take effective follow-up actions
  • Ensure proper processes are in place to promptly handle issues relating to employee grievances, disciplinary, terminations, investigations, workplace injury, medical and insurance claims
  • Update Management and Board on HR-domain related trends, best practices, regulatory changes, innovations and new technologies
  • Drive, own and continuously improve HR processes and employee life cycle experience, starting with "Perfect Day 1" onboarding process
  • Ensure HR compliance with all regulatory requirements, and that all HR Manual, SOPs and records are kept up-to-date and accurate at all times
  • Experience Requirements :

  • A Degree, preferably in Human Resource Management with at least 10 years of solid, hands-on managerial experience across full spectrum of HR function
  • A HR practitioner who is resourceful, well-organized and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good in negotiations and conflict resolution, able to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and deliver results under pressure and resource constraints
  • Able to interact well with Senior Leaders such as Management team and Company Directors
  • Strong working knowledge of local employment market, practices and labour laws
