Job Description

This is a newly created role to support the growth of quality talents and strong leadership pipelines to meet business needs. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of my client's talent management strategies and initiatives to effectively develop and engage existing talents.
Client Details
Our client is one of the key players within the port management sector delivering world-class port services. They are currently growing and is expanding the Talent Management & Development team to ensure growth of quality talents to sustain their growth. You will play a key role in planning and executing key initiatives to develop and engage existing talents.
Description
* Partner business leaders to determine the short to long-term talent planning & development objectives, and design and/or implement initiatives to achieve them.
* Manage holistic talent review and succession planning processes to identify and grow the talent pool for leadership and critical roles.
* Facilitate talent development discussions with senior management and lead the follow-up actions, including formulation of individual development plans.
* Initiate and implement talent development and leadership programs to grow the individual's potential, agility and global mobility.
* Support delivery of job rotation initiatives, and manage talent mobility-related matters with internal stakeholders.
* Work with relevant stakeholders to craft or enhance competency development frameworks and career-pathing to strengthen key capability building.
* Conduct career conversations with individuals to increase talent engagement.
* Identify appropriate metrics and perform analytics to generate talent insights.
Profile
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in talent management and leadership development in a large organisation. Additional experience in competency framework development and/or design and delivery of L&D programs will be an advantage.
* High learning agility with strong conceptual and analytical abilities. Able to balance strategic thinking with tactical implementation and explain concepts with good visual aids.
* Proven track record in project management and execution of initiatives in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
* Pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, hands-on and capable of performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Data driven and has strong proficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with data visualisation tools is a plus.
