Employee Relations and Organizational Development & Effectiveness

  • Achieve business objectives in connection with the Companies' policies and procedures, employee health and welfare benefit plans, payroll
  • Resolve employee relations issues and advise management.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to manage day-to-day HR operations, to reduce legal risks ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with REN HR, line management, and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention.
  • Oversee the entire staff life cycle from recruitment through performance management and termination
  • Responsible for the LTP headcount planning and staffing and recruitment strategy.
  • Create and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Be a HR go-to person partnering with the SEA management team to understand and execute the organizations HR development plan

  • Compensation & Payroll/Benefits Administration
  • Facilitate transition from DG staff being employed by other TotalEnergies entities on a recharge basis to direct employment by DG
  • Provide strategic HR support by designing and propose Compensation & Benefits policy and guidelines:
  • Develop and propose employee compensation and other initiatives designed to reward and retain key employees.
  • Support Business Development by structuring for each country / geographical region intelligible and clear reward package
  • Oversee job evaluation (NP) and work closely with GRP Branch HR to support the preparation of Evaluation Committees
  • Manage the administration of payroll and employee Health & Welfare ("H&W") benefits
  • Monitor and evaluate compensation and other employee benefit surveys and trends
  • Oversee the annual Performance Shares, Salary Review, and Merit Bonus campaigns
  • Onboard and supervise the external HR service providers and payroll agents.

  • Talent Acquisition
  • Assist in talent acquisition process in the process of sourcing and screening candidates
  • Advise hiring managers on compliance of local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices

  • Talent Development
  • Responsible for Talent development, deployment and coaching of talent in liaison with REN and GRP/REN
  • Responsible for annual mobility process with coordination with TD team in GRP/ REN
  • Responsible for the job posting campaign and conduct short listing and attend relevant interviews as part of the internal mobility campaign
  • Active contributor to a thorough, clear and modern Talent framework supporting the business to identify, attract, develop and secure the future talents and managers to enable the business to achieve its ambition
  • Support managers in forecasting, succession planning and talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy, and specifically the challenge to build a strategy for senior workforce succession planningand change management projects.
  • Facilitate development of managers in accordance with ambition of Better Together
  • Facilitate the competency matrix development of functional team and the training planned during annual performance review.
  • Coordinate with Total affiliates on provision of training programs planned for the SEA team
  • Identity and advise on the job grade and job ranking for existing and new positions according to group NP guide

  • Communications & Office administration
    Oversee the intranet and all internal communications and office administration, facilities and office-safety activities.

  • Candidate profile

    The Incumbent is expected to have a range of competencies and international experiences, including:

  • A University degree, completed by at least 10 years of experience in HR positions
  • Strong experience in compensation & benefits (designing reward packages, international mobility) and job evaluation
  • A service partner approach to support Management in sustaining growth
  • Autonomy in a demanding high-growth/ high pace environment
  • Solid understanding of applicable Group procedures and processes, as well as its organization (especially regarding HR)
