Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Responsible for development and creation of various development programs for all levels and setting up the infrastructure for learning for Cluster.


  • Run the full cycle of learning, training processes across business
  • Drive the training needs analysis and competency gap analysis by engaging key stakeholders to define needs and curriculum objectives to develop development plans
  • Integrate and act upon the diverse perspectives of Business Unit Managers, BU & Corporate HR as well as Senior Management
  • Develop and design training content, methodologies, and delivery methods with key outcome in mind. Own the design, delivery, and evaluation of these training interventions
  • Embrace different styles of training/coaching techniques, including train-the-trainer, e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching
  • Conduct & / develop stand-up delivery of in-house trainings, when required
  • Maintain, Compile & Update the Training Library in our G-Drive / Server
  • Develop relevant metrics to measure training effectiveness and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs for both internal and external
  • Analyses the training results to recommend further actions to improve the situation
  • Follow up with the Project Teams to ensure that the Project Site Training is properly done and evaluate the effectiveness (same for Overseas Projects)
  • Drive internship, mentoring, coaching programs, and work-study program
  • Develop a holistic view of performance analysis, identify true root cause, and suggest appropriate solutions to address the root cause
  • Drive Talent Management/Retention program
  • Review streamlining of training administration process
  • Oversee new employee on-boarding & preparation of new employees orientation program
  • Customisation of Orientation Program with the relevant stakeholders
  • Requirements

  • Minimum a bachelors degree in HR discipline or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant years in training, organizational and people development
  • Experience in designing and development of training content, methodologies, and delivery methods
  • Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Strong influencing skills to engage key stakeholders and provide learning solutions to improve performance and achieve results
  • Comfortable with public speaking to conduct stand-up trainings and facilitate any teambuilding interventions
  • Strong knowledge of training, organizational development, learning and evaluation practices
  • Ability to design content and effective methodologies based on training needs and provide quality delivery within tight timelines
  • A self-starter, result oriented and highly driven to work in a quick pace and dynamic environment
  • Hands-on person who is creative and one who seeks unconventional approaches
  • Proven experience developing programs aimed at upskilling individuals and teams
