Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Be forward looking, plan, review and monitor all HR policies and processes. Ensure that all HR processes, policies and procedures of the Company adhere to Employment Act and other government legislation.
  • Attract, motivate and retain talents for the company.
  • Lead, coach and inspire HR team to provide optimal operational support to the human resource activities, aligned with the various legislations and authorities guidelines.
  • Communicate HR policy to all levels of employees.
  • Oversee Employees Relations. Provide advice and assistance to employees in HR related matters, employee counselling and grievances handling. Handle employees suggestions and feedback.
  • Support management and HQ by providing human resources advice, counsel, survey, data analysis and reports.
  • Handle the full spectrum of HR functions including managing the projects HR teams.
  • Initiate and organise company events, employee engagement activities.
  • Job Requirements

  • A degree from a recognised university, preferably in human resource or Business Administration related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary HR teams. Experience with MNC Preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in construction industry is a must. Good understanding of MOM/BCA manpower policies for construction industry. Understanding of construction manpower demands.
  • Strong and proven HR leadership with effective inter-personal communication and influencing skills to deal with management and employees at all levels.
  • Possesses deep expertise in recruiting, compensation and benefits design, HR policy and process design and implementation
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Has the ability to multi-task and complete tasks within deadlines. A pro-active and a Can Do attitude would be critical.
  • Able to handle different working culture.
  • A suitable candidate not fulfilling all the criteria may be considered for Deputy/Assistant HR Manager position.
