Job Description

Our client is looking for a HR Manager to be based in Shanghai office. This role is responsible for talent acquisition strategy and implementation as well as planning and implementation of staff development initiatives and programs for staff development and retention to meet the business strategy and business expansion in China.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for talent acquisition strategy and implementation as well as planning and implementation of staff development initiatives and programs for staff development and retention to meet the business strategy and business expansion in China.
  • Talent Acquisition and New Hire Arrangement. Identify target universities in China and channels to attract high calibre fresh graduates and undergraduates for our interns and graduate program.
  • Manage the intern and graduate program on ongoing process including but not limited to covering hiring strategy, candidates identification, effective channels, line manager arrangement, program details, follow up, feedback, evaluation, action plan on permanent role, succession plan, etc.
  • Formulate the training needs analysis with discussion with line managers and related employees on training and development needs involving discussion, communications, plans, action plan
  • Design and drive the development plan for identified employees for staff development and succession planning
  • Formulate annual training plan and programs including business training, soft skill based training, coaching, technical and compliance training in an effective and ongoing basis
  • Provide advice and support to the functional heads and line managers to develop appropriate and customize video training programs
  • Track training assessment and maintain continuous improvement of training programs to meet business and staff development needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree of Human Resources, Business or any related disciplines
  • At least 8 years solid experience in human resources management including but not limited to talent acquisition, implementation of human resources program, staff development program and initiatives
  • Exposure in working in fast-paced and dynamic MNC environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight time line
  • Independence and ability to work with different levels of people including senior management
  • Good connection with HR counterparts, including consultancies, agencies, HR professionals, etc.
  • China Labour Law knowledge is required
  • Knowledge with and experience with real estate sector is the advantage
