Job SummaryThis role will own the complete responsibility for all Human Resources activities from hire to retire. This includes support recruitment activities (there is a TA team specialized in recruitment activity), Employee Engagement & Retention, Employee Relations & Communication, Employee Development, Compensation & Benefits, Performance and below detailed responsibilities.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
HR Business PartnerPartner with business leaders to manage the entire Human Resources function to attract and retain our employees.As a HR leader, should be able to work closely with people at all levels and carry out the operational and strategic activities for the countryRoll out global HR program in the countriesAs a HR Business Partner, should be able to handle all transactional activities for the company, both from business and HR perspectiveShould be aware of all Labor & Statutory laws and ensure Avantor is compliant to all such requirements at all timeEnsure consistency in all HR policies, procedures and practices, review the same from time to time and keep the records updated in line with any changes to the local laws and Avantor Corporate policyEnsure that exit formalities are handled as per the Company guidelines and the full and final settlement is done as per the turnaround timeHR Indices- ensure monthly reports as per the business and statutory requirements are maintained and compliant. This includes but not limited to head count analysis, Employee personal details, payroll, dashboard, exit analysis, budgeting and manpower expense analysis including maintaining of employee personal records in hard copies
Compensation & Benefits Cooperate with vendor to process monthly payroll including all staffs salary and social welfare calculation and payment.Work with Finance team to provide corresponding reports such as payroll, headcounts, cost center etc. monthly.Benefit administrationDevelopment, implementation and maintenance of compensation structures in alignment with market guidance and corporate guidelines
Other HR SupportSupport Talent Management activities like, performance management, development, career progression, engagement, improvement plans, compensation & benefits, communication are managed as per Avantor StandardsSupport recruitment activitiesWell maintenance workday system for all HR module
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)Bachelors degree in Human Resource related major preferredProfessional in Human Resources certification, especially in Compensation & Benefits management, labor relationship management and local Employment Law.Requires minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experienceFluent in speaking & written English.Experience with HR management tools & proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)HR experience in a multinational environment is an advantageWell verse with employment law in SEA countries.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence people at all levelsExcellent time management and prioritization, able to multi-taskAn excellent communicator verbal and writtenA meticulous person with high accuracy in dealing with data and number
